While the culture war rages on (and yes, it’s pretty hot today) … there is an entirely different kind of storm on the horizon.
And tax professionals are perfectly primed for it … maybe.
I wanted to share with you the good things we’re seeing RIGHT NOW in the advertising data … plus we’ve got some thoughts on what is coming for tax resolution services.
Hint: It’s going to be a BIG deal.
And that’s why we got together with the head of the Tax Resolution Academy (and longtime TaxProMarketer agency client) Dan Henn, CPA, who offered his 10,000-foot perspective and how any tax practice can ride this rocketship – EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT AN EA or CPA.
We discussed …
- Resolution as a specialized service that shouldn’t just be included in tax preparation fees.
- How to leverage this trend even if you don’t offer tax resolution services.
- Properly constructed tax resolution Google Ad campaigns with exact keywords are getting lots of traction and engagement (up to 12% click-through rate, above 10% conversion rate).
- Why you should institute multiple follow-up tactics – lead magnets, appointments, phone calls, social media interactions.
As you must know … the expiration of the PPP, and the EIDL programs (and various sundry pandemic credits) will expose many zombie companies for what they are – and will inevitably create some 941 “issues.” Not to mention the very likely recession we’re finding ourselves on the edges of.
Given all the craziness we’ve been walking through, it’s no surprise that the tax resolution space is blowing up. We’re seeing a new surge that is worth noting.
Maybe it could be because of pictures like this …?
That’s a recently-shared photo (by a TREASURY OFFICIAL, no less) of the IRS center in Austin, TX. These are paper returns still needing to be processed by IRS employees who will *keystroke* line items into the IRS’s database. And people wonder why our jobs are hard. (Could be that your client’s paper returns are in that photo?!)
But the flip side is – this translates into an opportunity to be of great service. There will be thousands and thousands of taxpayers in distress with the IRS. They need YOU – the caring local professional … NOT the hyperdrive national sales outfits who promise the moon and do next-to-nothing on their behalf.
The very good news is that we have been hitting upon some campaigns that are driving MAJOR leadflow for these services – right now.
This ain’t no dog-and-pony show to get you to buy a course.
We just think hearing Dan’s perspective will be well worth your time.
Listen in. And as always…
